Elwood & Frank

With the passing of Jake in 2009 the house became sad and quiet.  While her death was something we were all expecting we were still unprepared for the devastation.  She was Gareth's first baby and she had just been with us for soooo long.

After a couple of weeks of crying, it was decided that we needed to adopt some new family members.  Elwood arrived first, he was 8 weeks old and  filled the void purrfectly.  One month later saw the arrival of Frank, who is first and foremost Samantha's cat.  It was amazing how the whole spirit of the house lifted.

They have everyone wrapped around their little claws and Elwood in particular, is full of mischief and mayhem.  While Gareth tries very hard to maintain the tough guy appearance, he is often caught cuddling and playing with them, especially when he thinks no one is watching.

The boys have both had their first birthdays now.  Hopefully, they will be with us for many years to come.
